His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord. KJV
In our "Have It Our Way", "Do It Yourself", "Everyone Plays, Everyone Wins", "Many pathways to heaven," etc society.....I honestly think we have approached the KINGDOM with these cultural miscues. I mean think about it.....we go to churches based on "What we like....." instead being sent. We Church Date until we either FEEL right about it, or get our FEELings hurt at one, then we're on the NEXT one.
Every now and then, GOD uses my mouth and many other preachers/teachers to make us sound ubber prophetic or crafty with words so much so that they become like catch phrases, but while meeting with one of my groups this past Monday going over our newest study" All In", one of those heavenly bread crumbs dropped on us.
I'll call it.....WHAT YOU WON'T HEAR IN HEAVEN:
You won't hear...."Oh it's ok.....I understand....enter into the joy of the Lord."
You won't hear...."Well done good and faithful gossiper.........."
You won't hear....."Well done good and faithful studier"
You won't hear......."Well done good and faithful attender"
You won't even hear " Well done good and faithful member...."
You won't hear ..."Well done good and faithful tither..."
You won't hear....."Well done good and faithful bassist, pianist, worship leader....etc"
You won't hear...."Well done good and faithful Bishop, Pastor, Deacon, Evangelist...whatever the pop title is......"
If you are serving...continue to keep a servant heart...in other words... serve with gladness and humility & take your complaints to the KING, don't let those who you serve, or serve alongside get polluted with/by your "feelings".
If you aren't (serving....and don't confuse showing up, warming a seat with serving).....simply put......either you are hard headed or don't desire to hear those glorious words, and are totally at peace about spending all of ETERNITY in the chaos of DARKNESS!
